Tasting Notes

EYE: Gold color with shades of bright mahogany.

NOSE: A cascading profusion of superb aromatic notes.

PALATE: Great complexity of creamy pastry notes with hints of dried violets, tobacco, leather and walnut. Velvety finish of exceptional length.

In 2012, 15 years after launching the internationally-acclaimed Extra Elegance Cognac, CAMUS proudly presents its atest release: Extra Dark & Intense. Starting with a simple idea in mind - to create a BOLD and INTENSE expression of Extra – Cyril CAMUS asked the Cellar aster Patrick Léger to select the best barrels of Extra Cognac to follow a unique ageing process.

自享有国际声誉的经典特醇卡慕干邑推出15年后，卡慕荣耀在2012年推出其最新产品—— 卡慕特醇夜色浓香干邑。西里尔·卡慕心怀彰显特醇干邑浓香出众风味的简单想法，请酒窖大师帕特里克·莱热挑选出最佳酒液，采用独特的陈酿工序进行陈酿。

The chosen barrels were emptied of their precious Cognac and returned to the Master Cooper to be opened one by one, then heated with open flame to release the alcohol still trapped inside the very grain of its oak staves. These droplets of concentrated Cognac are intensely aromatic. This slight heating process is tailor-made, barrel by barrel.

The Extra Cognac is then returned to these casks for a special finishing phase that has been named “Dark & Intense”. Gradually, the structure of the eaux-de-vie and the enhanced flavors of the cask merge together harmoniously.

特醇干邑之后再被倒回这些橡木桶中，经过最后一道被称作“夜色浓香”的独特工序。生命之水丰富的口感与更加浓郁的橡木味逐渐融合，和谐交融。

Tasting Notes

EYE: Bright, tinted with mahogany and topaz.

NOSE: Sturdy and powerful offering crème brûlée, gingerbread and roasted macadamia nut aromas. 

PALATE: Intense with creamy, buttery notes, robust and lingering finish characterized by subtly spicy dark chocolate notes.
